Dr. Linda Smith is a forensic psychologist who has specialized in divorce for over 12 years. She has worked with thousands of children and parents who have experienced divorce. Her professional experience consists of parent consultation, co–parenting counseling, serving as a guardian ad litem, parent coordination, therapy with children of divorce, and child custody evaluations. Through these experiences, Dr. Smith has accumulated significant knowledge about what works and what does not work for children and families of divorce.
Dr. Smith has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. She also completed postdoctoral training in Child and Family Forensic Psychology at Tufts Medical Center. She has served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Tufts School of Medicine, and as the Assistant Director of the Comprehensive Family Evaluation Center at Tufts Medical Center. Currently, she has a private practice in Connecticut where she specializes in Child and Family Forensic Psychology.
